I went to Las Vegas for the first time recently and, apart from watching my college team play basketball in a tournament, my main goal was to try a few of the city’s buffets. After dropping my luggage off at my hotel, I made a bee line for Wynn’s buffet.
My first piece of advice is to get a reservation for the buffets. I quickly learned that as I waited an hour to sit down after arriving around noon.
My initial impression of the Wynn is that it’s very whimsical. The bright décor really draws you in. Unfortunately, the seating is a bit cramped as tables are quite close to each other.
I’m pretty adventurous when it comes to buffets and the Wynn was no different. The sushi, nachos, and crab benedict were all good but I think the sweets/desserts are where the Wynn really excels. They had chocolates, pastries, ice cream, and all sorts of miniature baked items to feast upon. My only regret was that I couldn’t try them all because they really looked amazing.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience. For $50, it had a big variety of dishes that were satisfying and delectable.
